Motorization

Motorization is the addition of either a Diamond Motor or Somfy motor which gives you control of your blinds from any place in your home. Motorization is perfect for large windows, blinds in difficult to reach spots, heavier blinds, opening multiple blinds at the same time and much more. This can all be done through your choice of wireless remote controls, wall switches, or an app on your smartphone. This quiet system can even be integrated into existing control systems and networks that already control other features in your home.

While it makes it easier to open and close your blinds, motorization reduces the need of hands directly touching your blinds, keeping them clean and perfectly aligned. It also removes the traditional, manual cord, making the entire system more child safe.
